Our commitment
We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA. Clear typography, strong contrast, logical content hierarchy, keyboard-friendly navigation, meaningful imagery and accessible forms are considered from the first design decision, not retrofitted after development.
We hold this website to the same standard we apply to client work.
What we do on this website
- Colour combinations are checked against WCAG contrast ratios rather than judged by eye.
- Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and shows a visible focus indicator.
- Headings follow a logical order so the page can be navigated by structure.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Animation is disabled automatically for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion.
- Form fields have persistent labels, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone.
- A skip link is provided so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
Known limitations
Accessibility work is never finished. Where we find an issue we fix it rather than document it, but if you meet a barrier we have not caught, we would genuinely like to know.
